Vikramaditya VI was a notable ruler of the Western Chalukya Empire in India, reigning from around 1076 to 1126 CE. He is remembered for his military conquests, administrative reforms, and patronage of art and literature. He ascended the throne by overthrowing his brother Somesvara II with the help of some of the Chalukya feudatories. Vikramaditya VI, also known as Parmadideva, assumed the title Tribhuvanamalla. Vikramaditya's reign marks the starting of the Chalukya-Vikrama era.
